Mans best friend and sometimes lunch

In the Pecos valley a 9000 plus year old human coprolite was found in a dry cave deposit which contained a skull fragment of what is described as unmistakably domesticated canine. This recent discovery was made by researchers studying Late Paleo coprolites for subsistence analysis and patterns. This find is now considered the oldest evidence of domesticated dogs in the new world.
