Pine Needle Baskets
These are a mix of old technology and modern materials. I won these at a native American gathering near mono lake ca. they were raffle prizes from a family that has been making baskets since recorded history In the Yosemite / Mono lake area.

My great Aunt somehow learned long ago how to make Pine Needle baskets and made some incredible ones. She made many many of them and rarely ever gave them to anyone. She gave one to my wife and I one time and we were looked upon with envy from the rest of my family. Very incredible patience and skill it must have taken anyone to make them.
