Fluted Clovis Necklace (Bone)

I make different bone arrowhead necklaces and only recently have I tried producing actual types found. This was my first attempt at a fluted Clovis. The pictures really don't show the detail in this piece but you get the idea.

Thumbs up

Nice details on it,,awesome job!

Where do you get your bone? I learned recently from a member here that you can get bleached cow(?) bone (dog toy?) at Petsmart at around 5 or 6 dollars.

Years ago I got a batch of bone from a butcher shop near where I grew up. Remember butcher shops? Anyway, I have been using pieces from that for the last 25 years. I am considering buying some buffalo bone just to add to the cool factor! LOL!

Cool,,,my Dad made a killer serrated Dalton out of antler one time. Can't remember if it was deer? Probably. Gave a cool two-tone color if I remember correctly...

Anyways, Keep up the good work. It's awesome
