Nice PDf, thanks Adam. Wonder how they solidified 250 AD as the introduction of the bow and arrow?

So Folsom and the Archaic period in the eastern part of the US started the same year? Neat to see that pinned down.
Sarcasm aside, the historical dates are probably documented and relatively accurate. The earlier dates have a broad degree of error, it's still need to see it all laid out in a timeline. I do think the Seminole tribe buying the Hard Rock casino and restaurant brand for a billion dollars is at least as cool as Jana Mashonee being nominated for a grammy. I'm not joking about the Hard Rock business, the Seminoles have turned themselves from one of the poorer tribes into a wealthy vibrant tribe that invests significantly in education for their members, maintaining language, culture, etc. |

53. 1868 –Red Cloud, the Sioux Renaissance Leader, hands the U.S. Military its
only defeat on U.S. soil ... 55. 1876 – Sitting Bull & Crazy Horse defeat George Armstrong Custer and 7th Cavalry at the Battle of the Little Bighorn So, the Powder River was not "US Soil" but the Little Bighorn was? and 59. 1883 - Sarah Winnemucca Publishes Her Autobiography -I highly recommend this to anyone. |

Introduction of the bow and arrow at 250AD sounds early by at least four hundred and fifty years. Any one out there have more concise info concerning this? It's my understanding that the bow and arrow was introduced around 700-750AD in the eastern US and by about 850-900 AD was in use just about every where from coast to coast. Does this jive up with what everyone else's knowledge of it is?

Mojave - there are at least 6 books about Sarah Winnemucca. Which one are you referring to? I would like to read it.
Thanks, Dave
