The show will be held at the Helotes VFW Post 7108 in NW San Antonio on September 12, 2009. I hadn't really put much thought into the times but maybe at least two different demonstration times maybe one about 12:00 and one about 3:00. I just wanted to do something for the kids to learn and enjoy. I want the arrowhead show to be more than just arrowheads and display cases.

Where's the atlatal coming from & will the thrower get a chance to try it out to be acquainted with it before the event? Will there be a backstop behind the target & who's going to make the points to be used with it? Where will the target come from, who's bringing it, etc., etc...Thanks, it's a good idea but lot's of logistic's to be done right.

Sorry for the delay in getting back...I never thought of all those logistics! I was just trying to find someone then work out the details.

Pat,

Sounds like Silver is volunteering to be the target. Looks like you have a pretty good event lined up! And, congrats on the latest Texas Cache, very well done!

Shannon

Well, I think what Pat is saying is that if anyone has an atlatal & knows how to use it safely in front of kids, then the person should contact Pat to participate in her educational type of event. Maybe that person might want to show their handiwork at the DigFest also.

Thanks, Shannon, I am working hard on it. Already started on the October issue.
