How many people here are knappers?

After that Scottsbluff post, I am suddenly enthralled by knapping. It's like its own art form. Anyone here do any serious knapping? I'd love to see some pics of your home grown points!

Greetings Ed... I`m a newbie knapper, I started about 5 months ago.
I`d love to post some pics, but I`m afraid I haven`t been very good
at collecting pics of them. I have several here on the desk, but I can`t
scan `em & the camera memory card`s full of pics from a trip I made to
Gettysburg a couple weeks ago. I`ll get some pics soon`s I get the other
pics uploaded to make room for points.

Henry the front page had the different stages of manufacture for a scotty(not yours),so I believe that is what he might be talking about.

then imo , a poster should refer to the post he is talking about , in general posts are out of context , imo.

Sorry man I was joking. I really think Ed was referring to the Scottsbluff article not your artifact.
And I agree the cold and impersonal nature of the internet leads to misunderstandings. We should all try to base our comments on what we are referring to. Point well taken.
I honestly believe that anyone who thinks your Scotty is anything other than the real deal is barking up the wrong tree.

thank you mojave ,we spent all day at the beach today dodging questions from folks that read about the beach and think it is littered with clovis points and fossil bones and they think they are connected in time , we found nothing , i did have a good laugh , two guys were barefooted wearing shorts , short sleeved t-shirts , bare headed , and tried to hunt the salt grass where we were hunting , they fed the wildlife for awhile lol the mosquitos ate them alive ,
