Shannon that is interesting.
I'm sure that the North Oregon Coastal indians (Chinook Tribes) used Adze axes during the making of dug-out canoes, It seems like those would be a very common find here considering how many canoes where likely made. I don't think I've even seen them in local museums...I might not be looking hard enough on both accounts.
