Mesa Verde

I think the neatest place I have ever been has to be Mesa Verde National Park. I first was there while visiting friends in the Four Corners region around 1993. I have since been back there four more times. These pictures are scans of old 35mm shots. The first is the Mesa from Mancos area, second is Cliff Palace, next is Spruce Tree House, then Step House, and the last one I don't remember the name. Step House was destroyed during the last big forest fire. Hope you enjoy them. Ray.

Awesome pictures.
I never made it to Mesa Verde.
I have been to Chaco and Canyon De Chelly a few times though. My profile petroglyph picture of the adult and child walking is from Chaco in an area that was once accessible.

Yes it is the White House but it is not my picture. I Googled it. Here are a couple pics from a side canyon in Chaco I took back in the '80s. I have never seen these published and the area is off limits these days. For all I know they don't even exist anymore.

White House @ Canyon de Chelly

Neat petroglyphs, lets hope they are still there. Here is my pic of White House. Ray.
