I think he's probably more correct than the conventional wisdom folks would like to admit but he makes absurd statments like "You can't carve stone with stone". Giving a flaked axe as an example that 'must' be made using iron or steel. Clearly the guy doesn't have all of his fact straight either.

I'm not saying they didn't have metal tools as I would actually be surprised if they didn't but the idea that you can't flake a stone with another stone.... seriously. He needs to take a KNAP.

In reading about the author it's clear that much of his assertions are primarily to support his idea of creationism over evolotuion. Of which I don't want to rehash, but it points the the fact that accuracy regarding the archaelolgy is not his primary goal.

Yeah, the repeated statement of "You can't make a Stone tool by hitting it with another Stone" is ridiculous and totally discredits anything the guy is trying to state.
the "About the Author" section explains everything.. he's a Creationist and, of course, cannot deal with Scientific Fact..

Besides his attempts at looking like The World's Most Interesting Man is soo lame.. He Fails at this greatly..

Oooo... that's good. I hadn't put the two together but you're dead on with that one.

He appears to be a bit of a fundamentalist Muslim type. While I have no problem with Muslims at all there are packs of nutters in every group. That pack of nutters tends to be in the news a lot.
