Antler Knife
Started on this today..2 hours with a heavy rasp and file..How did those primitves do it? The outside edge is very sharp,a lot of work to do on the tricky inside edge..a letter opener for a friend when finished..

That is Cool. Can you actually get a knife edge out of it?

I wonder also how much time they had on there hands with the stone work I see and the time it takes to ground out a bowl or some thing. I guess if you are so worried about haveing to go to work you could make alot of stuff for your house also, I know I could use a few days to just get stuff done. But if I get time off I would probly be out hunting the ground for rocks.

Isn't that the truth...I'm working on My Wife's Farm project..I should be hunting points and she knows it.
![]() I actually should be working on house projects too but finding a day between Point hunting, Fishing and Kids wrestling and THE FARM is not easy. I guess they had a good deal of time in some regions at certain times of the year to engage in infastructure and industry projects such as Bowls, Knives, weights ect. I always believed most subsistance cultures where always busy. But that may not be true.
