Just a thought. Are you sure you want to expose your children to the academian attitude toward collectors being classified as looters?

I didn't see that... I didn't dig very deep and thought it looked like fun for my 3yo.

I'm fine with a bit of modification..All education is like that. I don't agree with a portion of the curriculum taught at my son's school..But the good far overwhelms the bad.

Of course Collectors = looters is sort of a core concept flaw and a big one at that.

I'll look at it more carfully

When me and my son go out looking for arrowheads, I always tell him that some people have a problem with what we are doing and others just don't know or care. He says he doesn't see why they would be mad because it make him fell good. To bad other people don't think the same.

Trask, I didn't look in to it. I am just assuming there is an ever present attitude that exists there. You're right about the good, guess the rest is up to the parents.

Some things like this you just get some ideas and inspiration..or Like Jeremy said use it as a segway to interject a dose of your perspective and reality to mix with the rest. Anything that works as a springboard to get minds moving is a good thing.

Thanks for the link Trask. My kids are a little too young but i'll bookmark it and keep it in mind for the upcoming years. From this post and others in the past, I think its great that you're such an active and engaging Dad...keep it up.
