My repro of a point I often see found
I assume it was a triangular point that was just sharpened many times until the material is thinned away.
Was supposed to go out this weekend someplace where I could go hunting - ended up not going. This was my compromise ;-) |

"Biggs Chert" or "China Hollow Jasper" - it's from out here in the Columbia River Gorge, about 20 miles East of The Dalles.
This particular piece is dark brown with light brown swirls (color of a hersey's bar) through it. Material ranges from White (too soft to knap after heat treated - to black, with just about everything in between). |

What colors were you sent, maybe I can send you some and fill in some holes. I can also send you examples of the Biggs/China Hollow material.
