How to make a stone pipe

I was really curious to learn how to make a stone pipe last winter and this site was the best as far as instructions and documentation:

Tutorial is here...

Growing my own tobacco this year and wanted to smoke in style
It seems that Native American sacred tobacco was a wild variety with such a high nicotine content, it could be used as pesticide. No wonder they would take one puff and pass! Two puffs and turn green and pass out!

Seems the major hurdle is getting the stone (catlinite) to make one though. Site/business is run by the daughter (5th gen Sioux) and her husband after her pipe making uncle "Little Feather" passed away.
