Native American Gaming
I was searching for early Native American games and thought I would share some of the links I came across. Please feel to add to the list.
Cherokee Ball Play - great (and long) read: The Cherokee Ball Play by James Mooney ***Tangent Alert*** <tangent> Wonder what role the Native "Lacrosse" stick nets played in the more modern "Dreamcatchers" said to originate from the Ojibway (Chippewa) tribe? They share quite a similarity in the weaving. Maybe they hung their "Lacrosse" sticks over their beds for good luck Hate to get hit in the head with a stone game ball... Yikes.</tanget> Dice game: Native Tech ~ Bowl & Dice Game Other Games: NativeTech: Other Games & Toys

Here's a couple of links about Indian games including Chunkee which was playing by rolling the large Discoidals along the ground and throwing spears at them to see who got the closest.
