Makeing a bone ornament

I have been thinking of doing this for a while now.A friend lives on a woodland village, and finds tons of bone artifacts.Game pieces, awls, and tons of other items.
So I had all I needed to make some.I have the flint,the bones,(deer & cow)and abrading stones.So today I tryed it...
The flakes worked so much better then a worked piece

Thought this was cool...starts at the bottom, end at the top...
The fkake blade is my fav. new tool...While useing it to try to split the bone.it resharpens it's self.If I slightly change the angle of my hand, some microiflakes come off and shapen it up..very cool..I really like to lear first hand.

here are the next batch ...
1st...me
next I had to switch to a larger tool to keep going.Note the bone dust..

Remember the saw-like tool I found recently?I made one,and it works great!

Once it got thinner,I knapped out a spade-like tool, and used it like a wedge to split it...
