Pottery Collection

I can't for the life of me find my arrowhead collection in storage in spite of being there twice now to try and find it so I thought I would give you a glimpse of some of my pottery collection instead. I have a whole bunch more too, I just gotta get out there and get some pictures!! Check out the cool Inca Jaguar vessel in the lower left, super thin and well made, very delicate.

That's not good cannonman. I hope you come across it soon. Nice looking Pottery pieces. That's one thing I don't have, a whole Pot. I have tons of Pottery Shards, but nothing whole. I did see an interesting piece at the AACA show last Saturday. It was a piece from Peru that had a 6 inch penis on it that acted as a spout to pour out the water. Very strange looking piece to say the least and a populer piece at the show. The man ended up selling it and I watched as the man that bought it peeled off a bunch of hundred dollar bills for is. How many I'm not sure, but it seemed like quite a few.

Thanks for posting the pottery! I have always loved it. At one time I had over 30 complete pots but sold most of them. Here is an Anasazi bowl I still have, Ray

Wow, that's a nice bowl. That black and white stuff goes for more than I am willing to spend about 98% of the time. I'm a cheap skate sort of so I have bought almost exclusively broken or "sack" pots over the years. I get as much anjoyment from the restoration process as I do anything.

Nice collection cannon, good luck on finding the points!

Ray, that's a nice piece! Hope to find/own one some day. I have a lot of painted sherds.

Just bored at the moment so here's some better shots... Nazca jar that I'm about half way done restoring, still have to paint the filled in cracks to match.
