Las Palmas Woman...
10,000-12,000 year old female from Tulum Mexico reconstructed from skeletal remains. The remains were found under water on the Yucatan Peninsula. For those who are fluent in Spanish, I'm sure it is an interesting read. According to the reconstruction, she appears to be similar to Southeast Asian.

Thanks, Mojave. I was just down there and wish I had known about this! The clovis-first theory is sinking rapidly.
I cannot imagine how much evidence of migration is under water along the Pacific coast. |
