Just Ordered a Thunderbird Atlatl

I ordered an Atlatl from these good folks today and it is slated to be here for our NW BBQ even this weekend. Their selection is amazing and so far service has been outstanding..Cool Website/Blog too..Check 'em out.

You got the hi-tech job, I guess. I didn't know he still made them.

Ought to be one heck of a good device.

That's very cool. I wonder if they allow hunting with an Atlatl here?

My best was a big bullfrog from across a pond(maybe 50 feet) with a sling shot. Hit him right in the head and he still jumped about a foot. Yes, I fried him up(er my mom did, I was about 10).

I'm thinking about making a homemade atlatl after looking at some of that stuff.

I gave up hunting about 10 years ago but something like that might just be right up my alley.
