Funny picture
I took this picture yesterday when I was leaving Narita Airport in Tokyo. It wasn't there when I went through a couple of months ago, so I wonder if someone tried to board a flight packing some ancient heat.

That is good stuff. You have to think someone would have had to try it because they had to hang a sign up.

That brings a question to mind. Would our airports let you carry something like a big Scottsbluff onboard a plane? That would suck if you were on a vacation, found a big ole paleo or archaic knife, and then they wouldn't let you board with it. I guess you'd have to mail it to yourself.

You might have to wrap it up and put it in your suitcase for the cargo bin. I have an antler piece on my purse and they say no antlers on the airplane, but no one said anything about it when I boarded or went through security.
Another option would be to put it in a small bag and have it checked as a carry-on thats stored in the cargo bin. That way you'll have it with you right before and right after the plane ride, but can't reach it during. |

The funniest part, to me, is the fact that Samurai is in quotes. It's almost a rolling of the eyes as if to say "this really only applies to those who are stupid enough to consider themselves a Samurai and still think you should bring a sword on a plane... All real Samurai, we apologize for the inconvenience."

Another funny picture
I am in Melbourne Australia for a couple of days for a meeting, and noticed this sign that I thought was kind of funny. And there is an endless stream of jokes that can be made... Business must be hard, etc.
