Smile 5-23-11 Hunt

I found this point in a field that I like to hunt. It has been disked and planted and I have been waiting on a good rain for what seems like forever and we finally got about an inch and a half in 30 mins the day before I found this. I am not sure on the type, if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help. It is broken but it does not look like a plow break, I could be wrong but it looks like it may have been an ancient break maybe while resharpening it or from use. Anyways I really could not believe what a good rain will do for the fields, when I found this point it was just sitting on top of the ground completely exposed and I have looked in this area of the field a couple times before. Thanks for looking.

Not sure on the type...but it's still a nice piece. It is amazing what a lil rain can do..I've been checking one of my better spots this year after every rain and have had good luck with everything being washed up.

I'm not sure on the type but it is a really nice point even if it is broke.. Like you were saying a few of my really good spots keep producing artifacts with each heavy rain we get even tho I have looked there before..

I can relate to the needed rain to hunt a field. Thats a really neat point made of good material but that break looks really old so doubt the other piece is there Thanks for Sharing.
