Yesterdays finds

I am a Landscaper and we were just laid off for the winter on Tuesday so I have been hunting real hard the last few days trying to find everything I can before the river freezes and the snow starts to fall. So Yesterday I picked a 2 mile section of the Mississippi to walk that has a few creeks that dump into it. Well I did not have any luck with finding points there but I did happen to find a pretty good antler shed (which I was very happy to find), and a Machete that was stuck in the mud along the bank. After walking this section of the river and finding no artifacts I decided to stop by one of my honey holes on the way home and test out my new 183 Lumens headlamp. Well it works very well it is much brighter than any of my other lamps and the white light made it easy find this broken drill. It looks like the base is a little broke and also a small piece of the tip is gone but I was still very very happy to find it. This is the first drill I have ever found, so it was a very exciting find. Thanks for looking.

Very nice drill - believe it or not, you often see really neat toilet tissue holders made from an antler. Matter of fact they get $20 plus in shops locally.
Course one doesn't want to back into it.
Also they are laid on a pretty piece of cedar where small candles cups can be
glued.
