First Artifacts for 2012-Okieland

Hi All, I started the day kayaking, and had found a couple points. I called some close friends to come by and show my finds, and they invited me to go in their boat again that day. We had a good day and no one was skunked, which is an accomplishment now days.Anyways thought I would share some pics of my finds for that day. The fine Gary Dart is made of a material I have never seen from this area. I call it my Calico Gary, take care.....Jerry B.

In this area they call it a Stemmed Hoe,(Oklahoma Artifacts by Robert E.Bell). It is probably one of the best ones I have found, symmetry, material and bit polish. Another cool thing about it is a another hunter had just been at that spot.Take care.....Jerry B.

Congrats on a very successful hunt. Sure do appreciate seeing the river In-Situ's. So thanks for that, and hope the finds keep coming for ya. Evidently not pointy enuff for the other hunter on the hoe. So good job on that one.
