Heart breaker Perd.

It was the perfect day to dig today.Warm,overcast,and breezy....
Found some nice flakes that I can work.


Some broke stuff and a couple of flake tools.

I love the Patina on this base.


What a heart-breaker.

As a non-Texan, that is what comes to mind when I think about Texas relics. The type, the material, the patina. Classic relic.

Still a great find and great looking artifact Neo. At least you know the break is ancient and occured from use...

I found a few pieces last summer where at first I was bummed they weren't complete but then you start to think "this is broke because it hit something"...

I would have been very happy to find that point even in that condition, in fact I would have considered that a whole one. Very Nice Find! Looks like you have really been on a Roll lately. Good job, hope to see some more soon. Good Luck
