Thanks everyone for your comments, it might sound kinda crazy breaking up ice to find points but it is actually kinda fun. I try to break the ice into the biggest pieces that I can and push them out into the river. If I do it right I can get a solid 20X10 foot piece out of my way with one push sometimes more. This is a good spot to hunt so usually I am rewarded with something for my hard work. And Wichita, I use insulated chest waders I think they are Winchesters, they keep me very warm. I also bought some 5mm cold water scuba diving gloves so I can put my hands in the freezing water all day without them turning purple or feeling like they are going to fall off. Actually these gloves are the best gloves I have ever bought they keep my hands warm in and out of the water even after they are wet. Anyways I still cant wait for winter to end, all this snow and Stupid ice trying to hide my arrowheads. lol Thanks for looking

Hey Wichita, I bought mine off Amazon used for like 13 dollars. Just go to amazon and look up scuba diving gloves 5mm and it should come up with a lot of different kinds. The only thing about these gloves is they are somewhat hard to take off when wet and even harder to put back on when wet but other than that they work fantastic.
