1 18 12 Arkansas River find

Decided to hit the river today. I met a nice lady out there, and invited her to join the forum. I hope she does because she was kicking my butt finds wise. She should have some good finds to post. When I met her she had found 5 points, to my big fat 0! I kept after it though, and just when I had resigned myself to the fact that I was gonna get skunked, I almost stepped on this.

It's no killer, but I'll take em like this all day long.

Thanks. No clean up though. Just a better camera (Other pics were taken with my cell), and better light. The greasy look is just good ol river polish. Most of the points from this river have the same sheen.

I can never stop finding crinoid stems (to bad they're not arrowheads) because of the geology in my region but sometimes I find nice fossils.

Nice finds! I've hit the Arkansas a couple times there at Tulsa with no result, but I did get a couple out of it on a trip to Ponca City a few years back.
