Today's Apple Hill Dig 1/18/2012

Well I think The changing weather is going to give the apple hill site a rest and me to. Here's our days finds Artifact Jacks on his rock and my points on top of the screen and some washed pics . We marked the edges of our dig with rocks it might be a while before it dries out enough to dig again . Maybe now I can take some photos of Jacks Apple Hill Collection . And try to type whats came off the site .

Glad to see you are still nailing them. The digging probably isn't getting any easier, so enjoy the rest. Sure is a deadly looking sleek style on that obsidian point.

Is that corn in the field in the background? How's the hunting down on that lower ridge? If that field has been cut for silage, then by all means at least check it out with a surface hunt, especially if you get some rain on it. Assuming you can get permission on it that is.

It's rows of grapes every time they remove a orchard it's more wine grapes. We have not had a chance to check the rest of this area Artifact Jack and me have been cherry picking this site just working the areas where the gophers have pushed up dark earth and the easy digging . I hope to start again this spring permission is hard to come by. The lower ridge is off the property . But sure looks inviting .
