A very sad week :-(. But a very very good week too

This week is my last week to hunt my local sites, the owner has sold the property and the new owners move in on monday.. man ohh man am I gunna miss this place. It is perty much the only local place I know of. So if any of you local Eugene guys would like to take me hunting I sure would appreciate it. Heck I.would even pay for some info on any local areas.

Anyway here is what I have found so far this week.

Yeah. I'd greet them with flowers and wine the first day, maybe offer to marry their ugly daughter . . . whatever it takes!

ALL of the rivers and creeks here in our area are good hunting..except for now, since it's been raining soooo much that they're all flooding..i'd check out the mohawk river once it's gone down..after these floods, there should be lots of stuff that's been uncovered!!..i only hunt in one field (it's behind my house) but it's only "huntable" for a short period cuz the farmer is pretty quick at planting..doesn't stay plowed for long..and the winter wheat crop is always a favorite around here..i jump for joy as soon as i see he's FINALLY plowed again! lol..i was up by the santiam pass last week-end (sledding with my two year old grandson..his first time and boy did he love it!)..i was checking out the santiam river and it sure looks like a good river to hunt..i'm heading back up there as soon as the rainy season is over!!!..do bring some goodies to the new farmer..i'm sure he'll let you keep hunting (unless he's just a meanie)..good luck to ya!..love what you've found so far!!!!

Great looking finds. Have you talked to the new owners yet to see if they will let you look on the property? Maybe the present owner could talk to them and let them know you have had permission for X amount of years and have always respected his land and his rules and maybe convince them to continue letting you hunt. I wouldn't give up until I had exhausted all avenues to try to obtain permission to keep hunting there. A place that is giving up artifacts like those would be hard to just give up on. Good luck.
