1-19 = A slap in the face..

Well, I got into a huge camp yesterday! A friend of mine and I shoe the horses
there for the ranch near Sisterdale, Tx. The landowner let my buddy in there in the past and he found some killers.. The ranch manager let me in yesterday evening, so I got a good hole started and found this little la jita.. Not that great but nice rock.. well that evening we got a phone call and the owner told the manager she's not down with the digging anymore... What can ya do?!?! I'm bummed out! Oh well,,, Have 1 other place I'm going to try to get in this weekend.. It's getting hard to get a place anymore..

That is the way it goes sometimes Ryno. We lost one of the best places we ever dug in Utopia, Texas because the daughter of the man that owned the place said that once her father died there would never be another arrowhead hunter allowed on the place. Also never another person that hunted, fished, cut firewood or even farted. She kept her word.
Sucks because we found several 6 inch Perds on the place and my best was 6 1/4 inch white weak shouldered Perd all there.

Bobby, I'm glad I found the la jita and not a 6" Perd..
I might of started crying like a little schoolgirl..
But would've been happy with one like that too!

Man that suck, I know the feeling too as I just lost my best spot ever because of a change of ownership :-(. All I can say is keep your head up and eventually youll get into an even better hole :-)
