Maybe metate and maybe an abrader
Just found the metate but have had the big V at the back door for ages. Not sure that the first is a metate and not sure about the big V Seems a little small
What ya think guys? thanks for looking |

Not sure about the matate either. I've noticed a lot what appear to be posible crude nutting stones made of limestone, the matates I've found almost always are made of fine grain sandstone. The "V" not sure but looks natural or maybe sharpening grooves. Limestone plays some wicked head games sometimes!LOL!

Thank you Midland. I must guess at times and look at pictures
I've been out looking today. Too beautiful a day not to. Picked up a bucket full of whatever caught my eye. Made one last little walk through the cedars and found a nice preform. I'll post a little later.
