Folsom found...

I think that everyone who has found a Folsom knows that it found you, you didnt find it. Tom Westfall stated that book as well.
I have come to believe my body has become in tune with the Folsom.

The other day while at work I saw this old timer come in, he came up to me and asked me for some water. He wore a old camo green jacket and had signs of wear from the desert on his skin. There was something weird and I couldnt pin it. Well he left and he came back a few hours later, asked for more water. For some odd reason I asked if he has ever hunted points, he grinned and reached under his shirt, and pulled out, yup, a Folsom....
Soon as he exposed it, I literally yelled FOLSOM , lol.
We talked for a LONG while after, exchanged info
Fully fluted both sides, and 2 in long, it was awesome

Like I said before, the Folsom finds you, as in this case its true, it was calling to me

I would be waaaaaaaaay to paranoid to have that on a necklace! That thing will get broken eventually. It sure is a smoker!

I'm with Floyd. I can't believe that guy is wearing that on a Necklace. Did he realize exactly what it was and how rare of a find they are?

We probally wont go on a hunt , he wants to go shooting instead lol. He did tell me the location of the find, which adds to its greatness He told me he found a Clovis within 100 yds of the Folsom.
I kept telling him the same thing, " I CANT BELIEVE YOUR WEARING THAT" , he simply said , lifes short so whatever you do do it to its greatest, girls, guns, jewlery. I said what if something hits it? He said if something hits him hard enough to break it on chest, he would probally be a goner. He has been wearing it 10 years.
Yes guys he was well aware of the rarity and value.
I thought about doing the same thing with a base, no way would i wear a complete piece!

Hey, what makes us "full" at the end of a day? "Humble" has never equated to "Poor" in the big picture. I kind of understand the concept. He is correct, life is short... He knows the value of the piece and it isn't about $GAIN$ to him. God bless...
