1/23/12 - Three Pointer.

Went out for a couple of hours on Monday since the snow finally disappeared. Had some interesting finds even though they were all broke.

First is a Brewerton Side Notched (base isn't right for a Meadowood) but the hinge fractures on the break is a new one for me:





Next up is a little triangle. First find of this material and even stranger is that it looks like the base was split so it had "wings" of some sort. Has anyone seen other triangles like this???:





Last up was an unfinished triangle. I really like this piece even though it is (_|_) ugly... kind of gives you an idea of how they were working the piece:







Going to head out again today, with any luck there will be more to come!
