Looking for beads!!!

With some incoming rain, my friend Tony and I were headed to a couple of places to look for some nice "birdies" and when those spots didn't pan out we decided to look for shell beads, a place I like to look a couple of times a year. After a few hours we both found approx. 125 each and both of us found a couple of newer points. Not a bad day for Plan E!!![

That sounds like a good time! I don't know why beads are so scarce over my way but they are. I only average about one a year. You're in a great area, you have a little of everything to hunt.

Bead Day, Bead day!! Very Nice GBM.

I'd love to find beads locally.. but the inland sites do not seem to produce any..or they don't wash out much ~ must search more diligently I guess..

Very nice on those little points as well, they are Sweet!!!

Amazing how many beads you found. I have only found 25 or so in my lifetime. They are much scarcer on the eastern side of the Sierras. Truly amazing how much your sites continue to produce from rain and wind erosion.

Sounds like a most excellent alternate plan to me. Looks like you've got your token beads accounted for, for a long time to come. Another great fall back plan might just be referred to as the Canalino project! I'm still hoping to see that episode develop.

WOW!!! 250 Beads in on hunt. That is incredible. The most I have ever found in one hunt was probably 15 or so and that included both Shell and Bone Beads. I would kill for a site like that. I love Beads.

Nice bead camp. 250 beads in one day!
My daughter and I found 87 beads in one rock ring.
She even found the straight pen after it poked her.
It looks like the rain did you good.
Thanks for sharing your good day.
