First Point of the Year and a Heartcrusher
I have only been able to go out once this year so far. I went out a couple weeks ago and tried out a new spot. I managed to find a good point after about an hour. Several hours after that I spotted a brown base and I found what would have been my best point ever, but it wasn't to be. I have two in-situ pics of the points, but I took them with a different camera and it is giving me fits. Lots of flakes and pottery pieces here and there, but all in all it was a great time just to be out looking.

Wow, that would have been sweet. Nice looking material too. What would you call that kind of point?

The whole point is very nice, the heartbreaker is indeed just that.

What a shame. that would have been a killer for sure. love the patina specks. Isnt it funny how artifacts patina differently. is it the soil, or the material that its made from?
