1/29/2012 Did Some More Digging. Dalton find

I went back to my hill for a few hours Sunday. After my skunk on Saturday, I needed to redeem myself. I have just started digging in a new spot on my site. My joke I have been digging looks like a swimming pool right now with a couple feet if water in it. So I moved on down the hill. It started out pretty slow but then i got down into the pay layers. I ended the day with a couple of broken point and a really nice Gary and a sweet Dalton made out of some of the ugliest material. It's bad when a Gary looks better then the Dalton. Hope you enjoy.

I have found a few Daltons recently. I just know I have to be getting close to a killer. That's what keeps me going back. Ill be back out there on Saturday.

The Daltons a lil crude, but still a killer old relic and it's whole!

The Dalton is actually made a lot better then the pictures shows. It's really thin with a nice bevel. The base is made nice and heavily ground. It just looks like the resharpend it for the last time in a hurry.
