Site overview from past 2 years

Hey guys. The little Morrow Mountain point I found last week got me to thinking about what has turned up on this spot over the past couple of years. As I've said before, this is an area on what used to be my grandfather's farm, and where I currently reside. The entire farm was once about 140 acres, about half farmed, and we've found points occasionally scattered across the whole thing. In fact it was points that my grandfather found and passed down to my brother and me that got us started collecting in the first place. I'd guess between the two of us we probably have 25-30 points from here, maybe slightly more. The distribution seems to have been pretty random, with no great concentration in any one spot.

Back in the '80s, a neighbor disced up a field bordering our pastures and woods, and since there was a swamp running behind this area, I decided to check it out. To my great surprise and delight, I found 3 points, including probably my favorite point in my collection, in the back corner of the field. Unfortunately, neither the neighbor's property or our property adjoining the swamp has been disced since, until very recently.

Fast forward to January of 2010. As many of us do, I had drifted away from collecting for a while, but in January of '10 I returned to the hobby with a passion. Trying to find anywhere at all to hunt points, I headed back to this area where I had found the 3 points way back then. To make a long story short, we did a little discing (with a very small tractor and disc, so it doesn't go very deep) and a little digging, and in addition to 40-50 pottery sherds, 2 or 3 brokes, a couple of crude scraper/flake knives, and a bunch of flakes, I have been lucky enough to come up with the following...(Sorry about some of the blurry pics, I have been learning as I go!)

Just for grins, I'll throw in a pic of my favorite point from back there, the 3 inch perfect Stanly point I found when I was about 14.
(The other two were a really rough broken Stanly and a very thick, crude, stemmed quartzite point.)
