Nice Drill (Texas)

I just got back from the hill country digging with the family. We found some decent stuff and I finally stumbled across my first drill! I've never found a drill so I was pretty tickled to come across this one. Anyone want to take any stabs on what kind of drill this is? I think I got a good idea after discussing with a fellow arrowheadologist...just wanted to see some more opinions. Thanks for the look!

If the base is ground, I'd call it an exhausted Plainview (AKA Meserve).

It has some great micro edge work and beveling from resharpening and a typical thinning strike like a pedernales, so that would be my guess. but keep in mind, it is just a guess. Great Find... can you give an example of what was found in association.

Congratulations! If'n its ground I'd go with Plainview... and a dandy at that. By the by, my first drill was a Plainview as well!!!
