I might not be the "Most Interesting Man In the World,,,,,But I was very interested when I found these two deep down into the Clay layer.Last week I Was digging for points and found these two VERY unsuspecting items. These are artifacts the average digger might not spot.
The Monster Net weight is my first Looks like Jadite(Green Stone) and I would not have known what it is unless Fryng Pan Frank had not Pulled two out of this site.
The Biscuit is the Best I have ever found.
Both of these were completely in cased in Caliche crust.
Would you have kept them?

On most of the ones I have seen. They are obverse beveled as this one is.Also keep in mind these are made from Hard stone.Usually from the Creek cobble. This one still has a lot of Clay residue on it.I can see at the "Breaks that it is a Conglomerate rock formation.>included white veins around a coarse Green Gray Material.I think it is some of our Local Jadeite or Nephrite. The interesting thing is it comes to a perfect Bit with some slight use ware.
Check out the ones Frank has found.

Unless it has a pointy tip and ears, I generally throw it back.

I don't think that's a net weight with a bit like that.

I would not have kept them because they look like plain ol' rocks to me. But then, I'm no expert either.

Good stuff being found Deep into the Clay here.I am at about 8-10 deep and still find Flint and brokes. These two are not the Sexy type artifacts some will pack home,,,But touched and Utilized by ancient man,,,I'll take-em home all day ///
