Temple Show ---Palmwood points

I am putting together points I plan to display at Temple ( G I R S ) . Some of these have been on the Forum before . But as I am trying to get a visual record of these , I will post---sorry to bore youse guys/gals . These are not all good examples of palmwood points---but they will give you an idea of the diversity of color combinations . Don

Don those aint boring to me that is some beautiful stuff !!! what causes the white streaks in the second from last pic ? is that from the outer layers of the palm tree itself? i've seen this on other points of this material and have often wondered what is the cause of it just beautiful stuff man !!!

When and where is the Temple show. I've only been to a couple shows. Maybe I'll try to make this one.

Indy, I figured it was in Temple. Not sure where in Temple. If it isn't until June I guess I have some time to figure it out. I thought it was sooner.
I'll do my best to get there.

It is at the Maybourn (sp?) Center located on the freeway , just as you get on the north side of Temple . It is on the left as you come S on I -35. As Indy said it is the granddaddy of all artifact shows ! ( all I have seen anyway ) Dr Leslie P. and Fred Marsh head this one up and they are true gentlemen . ( not bad collectors either ! )

Thx for kind remarks above --Don

Mojave,
The Temple show is Friday, June 4 from Noon - 8:00, and Saturday, June 5 from 8:00m - 6:00 - no Sunday date this year. It is THE SHOW in Texas and has been for the last eleven years. Famous collections/finds like the Fenn Cache, the Batwing Cache, Buzzy Parker collection, Bill German collection, Dwain Rogers collection, Lyle Nickel collection, WCSP site, and the Shifting Sands site have made appearances in Temple. More Clovis, Folsom, and Scottsbluffs than you will EVER see in one room. Some of the FINEST artifacts you will ever see are regularly displayed. Paul
