Great Basin mano or ??????

This thing has always perplexed me. I have handled oodles of Great Basin manos but I have never come across one like this which is why I think it could be something else, but what? The Great Basin natives rarely put much work into a mano. This piece is pecked and ground to death and it's very symmetrical. It's nearly perfectly flat on the bottom and round on the top, much like a small loaf of bread. Atlatl weight crossed my mind but I think it's too big and heavy for that. It's just over 10" long by 3.25 wide by 1.437 thick. Mano or ??????

That mano is a beauty man. Round side for initial grinding, flat side for finer grinding?

Mano, Floyd. We find 'em in all lengths to nearly 12".
