Ok, another look please!!?

Found on a lake site in East Central Texas! On clay level! Wanted to review this one again, made of high grade flint, transported I assume! Material is stellar! Flaking is totally different than what we've seen! It's one of my favorite points! Lewis said maybe a Mahaffey on first post, and after looking at Overprice Guide it fits the type!!!? Heavily ground, and it's driving me nuts! Any guesses welcome, and I want yalls true opinion! Thanks!

could be what Lewis said but it could also be angastura or archaic knife form.

I would call it sweet . Looks Archaic to Terminal Archaic with the flaking. Could function as Atlatl point. The rounded base never sat right with me for a hafted knife treatment. It would wiggle out pretty quick even with asphaltum of whatever primitive glue early man used (depending on region). Could be a little hand held blade too.

No problem Cluton, sorry I didn't help ya' in the slightest .
