Bandera County. A dear old friend gave it to me a few years back. I asked him a number of times where he got it and he would scratch his head and say I just can't remember but it was around here. Round here? He lived in Medina for long years. Even if not Medina he probably found it in the county. He has since passed away so the exact spot is gone with him. Thank you for looking.

I agree on Wilson. Looks like it may have been in an old coffee can for a little while.

Thank you David, it was wrapped in a piece of flannel when I got it but who knows prior to that.

Looks like specimens from Wilson-Leonard site (type locality) more than from Devils River. Found stratified with and below Golondrina points and below St. Marys Hall points in well dated context.

Thank you Midland. Certainly wish my friend could have told me where he got it. But he was not an artifact type person. Just a sweet gentleman that enjoyed his mules. It is interesting how these things get 'found' where they aren't supposed to be. Like that half folsom I found about 60-80 ft from my back door. Rare but really rare here. Thank you for the information

Bandera County Folsom? I'd love to see a pic. I've never seen a Clovis or Folsom that was found in Bandera County. Paul

Okay, glad to show you. I never fail to look for the other half
No clovis that I have found. Unattractive angustoras, parts of angosturas,
a few la jitas, scotty halves, martindale, and a few others. Thousands of scrapers in every size shape and color. Lots of tools. But most days I think my injuns were the first vegetarians
