Need help with Tooth ID
I found these teeth while digging around in a Riverbank where I have found many points, pieces of pottery, and many other artifacts. The fact that I found them in this riverbank has really gotten me curious to find out what kind of animal they are from. I also have another question, how long would bone or teeth last after being buried? I see people that find bone awls or drilled teeth and I always wonder what kind of conditions would be needed to keep these type of artifacts from breaking down, and how long would artifacts like this survive after being buried? When I find bones or teeth in a river bank where I find artifacts what would I look for to determine whether these could be artifacts or just some kinda random coincidence that these are coming from the same bank as the stone artifacts that I am finding? Anyways if anyone can help me ID these teeth and maybe give me some insight into some of my other questions I would sincerely appreciate it. Thanks for looking.

Probably Deer Teeth. Teeth and Bone will last a long time if the conditions are right. Our sites have lots of Mussell Shells and I am told that helps to preserve the Bone items. Some of our Ft Ancient sites are as old as 950 AD.
