Question Unusual small blade

My friend dug this just before we called it a day. (Black Friday!)
Been collecting all my life and this is a first.
If anyone has any Idea let me know.
Depth about 8' down
Archaic age (No Birdies)
Uniface, one edge beveled.

Really do not know what to tell my friend except that it is one of the most unusal I have seen.

I found four nothing to brag abouts will post them later. (Seperate thread)
Mine was the best of the day until my friend stole my thunder.

Very cool! Think it was for animal flesh or plant harvest?

Great piece!! And very much like deep south Wallers. The style of the "tang" is very similar but is not placed on the end like a Waller. Yet another example that points toward them being corded rather than hafted. FWIW, I just posted a photo of some Wallers in the new stuff forum.
