Rounded tip arrowhead - not pointed tip?

Hi, I'm new to this forum here. I found this arrowhead in August in our melon field and have never seen anything like it. We have found several in this field, but they are not usually this colour or shape, they are usually pointed. This was near Leamington, Ontario, Canada, about 5 miles north of Lake Erie. Do you think it was used as a scraper or knife? I'd appreciate any opinions or comments, Thanks

It is what most would refer to as a hafted scraper. It would be on the end of a stick.

It was probably a point at one time. After it was broken they reworked it into a scraper. Excellent example by the way.
Thanks for sharing an image,

I agree with hafted scraper. Very nice material there. I know I have posted a few of those on these forums somewhere. I will see if I can find a pic or 2 and post my lower 48 ones. Mine are from the midwest.
