Found this one digging on other side of Nueces River in mixed context but Martindales common here so maybe Early Archaic. Any ideas?

Thanks for the response Comanche. It looks like it has an impact fracture on what I assume is the distal end. Hard to pick out in the photo but it could be my imagination. i had not considered that it might be a preform so its really good getting an objective opinion from someone who knows local types.

Thurs. I'm out bro. promised a friend I would help him clean out his "hot room" and he's got some monster King Cobras he needs help with and I've got people coming in to measure for new cabinets in the kitchen. Fri. CenTex and me are going to tear it up at CCC and your invited.
