Looks Paleo but not much there to go on. Fairly thick cross section. I suggest you look at the recent post Plainview/St. Mary's Hall for clues.

Lilly, a nice frag looking Paleo to me but not a lot to go on. As I'm sure you know the most diagnostic feature is the base. Many who post here may be unwilling to venture a guess as am I but I suggest you look at the recent post on Plainview/ St. Marys Hall for potential clues. Deffinatly shows diagonal flaking but is a bit thick in cross section. Hope you find the rest of it. You are in a fantastic part of the state for artifacts and the future will undoubtably give you many fine finds to ponder. Keep up the post.

Thank you Midland for helping. IF I had found it somewhere else it would not be important. But since it is on my property and about 120 ft from the house, it would help for the record I'm keeping.

This is why I persist annoying the great minds on this site
plus they would be so disappointed if I timidly went away

Thanks Comanche, it is one of those dangling things I've wondered about. Just finding a middle of a point is a pain in the bu77.

So I'll put it up and drag out some more questionable objects.
