Help to ID find
The following point was a surface find after plowing near Loves Mill, Virginia. Length: 38.57mm, Length notch to tip: 30.16mm, Width at shoulder: 25.41mm, Thick: 5.34mm. I have seen one item on this Web Site and it was identified as just a corner tang and location Texas. I was under the impression that it might be a Bullen (corner-tang) knife but not sure. Any help on a more positive ID would be appreciated. I am new to this forum and may have trouble on adding pictures. See attached photos.

No, that's not a corner tang. It is an Archaic dart that has lost one of it's ears over time.

If it's from the Texas area, I'd say broken and reworked Frio or, possibly, San Patrice.... Neat piece...Looks like they might have kept the 'foot' to use as a 'tang'...
