any ideas appreciated
Found these in central Texas, dug from about 2-3 ft. deep. Found one piece and a few months later and 30' away from first half, found the second half. It is 4" long and 1 1/2'' wide. I think it is made of sandstone. It is round and only shows the one wear mark that is shown in last picture.

I don't know of any boatstones from central Texas but not saying they don't exist. My guess being sandstone is mano or other grinding implement. I would like to hear from anyone with firsthand knowledge of central Texas boatstones though.
