How were they used??

The First three pictures are of a small bowl of sorts. The material seems to be high tempered clay. the pottery i usually find has visable granules mixed in, this bowl does not. Wasn't sure what it was used for? The last three pics are of what i considered a nutting stone. But, i havn't seen any other stones with a stained ring around the indent. I have been told it could have been used in the fire making process. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

The pottery is very cool, haven't seen anything like it before. Looks like a discoidal made from pottery, lol.

Nice nutting stone, we find a lot of those here. I've found half a dozen this month alone.
