Overshot flake? Clovis reduction flake maybe?
I believe this is an overshot flake but I'm not really sure. If so does anyone think it could be the by product of a Clovis being made? This is where being a knapper would be helpful to me. Please help!

It could well be. In many places a flake like that would either be a deliberate overshot (= Paleo) that went badly awry or a freak accident.
But west of the Mississippi that reduction strategy continued, in places, far longer. |
